Kate Cowhig International Recruitment in partnership with its client are seeking a Consultant Cardiac Anaesthesia and Critical Care for their state of the art hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The hospital is an excellent cardiac institution with a high-level professional standard and one of the most advanced cardiac centres in the Middle East. It provides the majority of cardiac services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The hospital has four clinical department: Adult Cardiology, Paediatric Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery and Cardiac Anaesthesia.

EDUCATION

Essential:

· Graduate from a recognized medical school.

· Saudi Board or equivalent higher qualification in Anaesthesia

Desirable:

· Fellowship in Anesthesia (minimum of one year) or equivalent subspecialty certificate recognized by Saudi Council for health specialty.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Essential:

· Three (3) years specialised professional post qualification training/experience in Anaesthesia from recognized center after obtaining the higher qualification in Anaesthesia of which a minimum of one (1) year must be at Senior Registrar level in Cardiac Anaesthesia.

Desirable:

· Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

· Must be a publisher of original work, have at least participated and preferably led original research.
