Consultant Intensivist, Cardiac Anaesthesia and Critical Care

Kate Cowhig International Recruitment in partnership with its client are seeking a Consultant Intensivist, Cardiac Anaesthesia and Critical Care for their state of the art hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The hospital is an excellent cardiac institution with a high-level professional standard and one of the most advanced cardiac centres in the Middle East. It provides the majority of cardiac services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The hospital has four clinical department: Adult Cardiology, Paediatric Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery and Cardiac Anaesthesia.

EDUCATION

Essential:

· Medical Degree from a recognized medical college.

· Saudi Board or equivalent in a Major specialty like Anaesthesia, Paediatric, Surgery or Medicine.

Desirable:

· Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (minimum of one 1 year), or equivalent sub specialty certificate recognised by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties (Adult or Paediatric).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Essential:

· Three (3) years specialised professional post qualification (either in Paediatric for Paediatric Critical Care or Adult for Adult Critical Care according to the post) training/experience at Senior Registrar level in Critical Care when the major specialty is Paediatrics, Surgery or Medicine (other than Anaesthesia) or training/experience at Senior Registrar level in Cardiac Anaesthesia and Critical Care when the major specialty is Anaesthesia.

Desirable:

· Publications or presentations at an international level.
