Resident Medical Officer - Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Internationally renowned for clinical excellence, our client is entirely dedicated to women and children, providing expertise in Obstetrics, women's health and paediatrics. Kate Cowhig International Recruitment has been engaged to recruit a Resident Medical Officer.

General Responsibility:

· Antenatal, postnatal and intrapartum patient assessment including interpretation of CTG monitoring

· Instrumental assisted vaginal deliveries

· Perineal suturing

· Surgical assistance at c/section surgery

· Proceed with emergency c/section (when necessary) in the absence of the consultant obstetrician

Requirements:

· MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

· Fully Registered with the GMC

· Successful completion of Part 1 MRCOG

· Holds a current licence to practice

· Advanced Life Support In Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ALSO) provider

· Neonatal Advanced Life Support

· Successful completion of blood transfusion training
