Kate Cowhig International Healthcare Recruitment are currently recruiting a CNM2 (Clinical Nurse Manager II) in Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) for a large academic teaching hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Role Purpose
The HSCT Transplant Coordinator is a senior specialist nurse responsible for delivering advanced, patient centred care throughout the HSCT pathway. The role integrates clinical leadership, case management, advocacy, education, and contribution to national standards and EU regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
· Registered General Nurse (NMBI or eligible).
· 5 years post registration acute experience.
· 4 years in Haematology, Apheresis or BMT nursing.
· Level 8 post registration qualification in Haematology/Oncology.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide specialist nursing care for HSCT patients and donors.
· Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and create tailored care plans.
· Coordinate investigations, treatments, follow up and MDT communication.
· Lead symptom management, patient education and nurse led counselling.
· Maintain data, KPIs and participate in audits, JACIE standards and HPRA compliance.
Education & Leadership
· Educate patients, donors and families.
· Mentor nursing staff and support MDT learning.
· Engage in evidence-based practice and national education programmes.
