Healthcare Assistants – Nursing Home (Limerick Area), Ireland

Kate Cowhig International Healthcare Recruitment (KCR) is currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants for an 80-bed nursing home located in a highly attractive area with easy access to Limerick City.

Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Eligibility to live and work in Ireland (European or UK passport required)
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or a Nursing Qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in elderly care is desirable
- Excellent English communication and strong interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant, candidates will be required to work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team under the direction of the Nursing team. Duties will include:
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans
- Supporting residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and appearance
- Assisting residents with eating and drinking
- Supporting residents with mobility and physical comfort
- Assisting residents to safely access and use toilet facilities, including participation in continence promotion programmes
- Contributing to the ongoing review and improvement of residents’ care needs
