Role of a Cardiac Theatre Nurse

In the perioperative area of cardiac theatre, nurses need to be flexible and easily adaptable to any situation. They provide high standards of patient care and skilled support during the ‘perioperative’ journey, to all members of the perioperative team. Cardiac Theatre nurses have the opportunity to do post basic educational courses to consolidate the specialist skills required in the perioperative environment.
