Kate Cowhig International Healthcare Recruitment (KCR) are currently recruiting Social Care Leaders / Designated Centre Administrators for an inclusive and progressive organisation committed to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism – assisting them to lead full and valued lives within their respective communities.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of disability services within Ireland.
Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in Ireland.
Location of Post: Limerick City, Ireland
Minimum Criteria:
- Hold a minimum Level 7 third level qualification, at minimum, in Social Care, Social Work or Nursing with CORU or NMBI registration.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with people with an intellectual disabilities.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a strong working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage and supervise staff.
- Excellent IT, administration, report writing and organisational skills.
- Be able to work evenings and weekend shifts.
- Possess a full clean driving licence, own vehicle and be willing and able to drive a vehicle with up to 8 passenger seats.
- Be prepared to be on call as required.
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge of spreadsheets and databases.
- Working with budgets and accounts.
- A relevant qualification at minimum Level 6 in People Management.
- Previous management experience, while not essential, is desirable.
